Job summary

Eurofins Agroscience Services Easton, MD, is seeking an Associate Scientist to join the Chemistry team. You will perform analytical testing, data collection, and report preparation in a GLP environment.

The role requires a chemistry-related degree and laboratory experience within a CRO or similar setting, with a strong emphasis on accuracy and compliance. Candidates should possess solid teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and handle

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 3 years in a relevant lab setting.
• GLP experience preferred; agrochemical residue CRO exposure helpful.
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Use diverse analytical methods to investigate test substances in test systems.
• Perform lab tasks including balances, volumes, pH meters, sample prep, microbial analysis, TOC, and related duties.
• Carry out calculations for stock solutions, regression, and ppm to ppt; apply internal standards.
• Conduct sample extraction and cleanup for water, soil, crops, and tissues (SPE, QuEChERS).
• Operate LC-UV, LC-MS/MS, GC-MS, GC-MS/MS instrumentation and record results.
• Document work in notebooks and logs; maintain data binders and prepare summaries.
