Job summary

G1 Facility Services is hiring an Entry-Level Maintenance Technician at Boston Logan International Airport in East Boston, MA. No prior facility maintenance experience is required; we will train you and help you grow into more specialized maintenance roles with higher wages.

This full-time position operates 24/7 with shifts including days, evenings, nights, weekends, and holidays. We offer a strong benefits package and a clear growth path within airport facilities maintenance.

Qualifications

• 0–2 years of general maintenance, custodial, general labor, or related experience — no prior facility maintenance experience required
• High school diploma or GED
• Basic hand tool knowledge
• Valid U.S. driver’s license
• Ability to obtain and maintain airport security badging
• Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn

Responsibilities

• Change air filters and perform other basic HVAC upkeep tasks
• Replace light bulbs and basic lighting fixtures
• Perform basic painting and drywall patching
• Clear minor floor drains
• Escort unbadged vendors and visitors in accordance with airport security procedures
• Assist senior maintenance technicians with larger repair and maintenance projects
• Learn and use our CMMS to log completed work orders
• Assist with snow and ice removal during winter months
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all safety protocols and airport security procedures at all times
