Job summary

JSM Airport Services, LLC is seeking a highly motivated BHS Technician I at Boston Logan International Airport (BOS). This career-track role offers a long-term future with an expected commitment of one year or more.

The primary function is electro-mechanical operational, preventative, and emergency maintenance support for baggage handling systems. The job includes an hourly rate starting at $22.00, full-time status, and a 24/7 operation.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or GED required.
• Must possess at least 1+ year of mechanical work experience.
• Must read, write, speak and understand English.
• Must read and interpret repair manuals and basic mechanical schematics.

Responsibilities

• Inspect curbside and ticket counter hardware, cladding, and belts.
• Check BHS belts, motors, power turns, carousels and PODs.
• Perform basic preventative maintenance on conveyor systems and areas.
• Diagnose equipment failures with guidance from senior staff.
• Assist in replacing components such as bearings, motors, reducers and belts.
• Ensure safety with PPE, lockout/tagout and proper tools.
