Job summary

Amentum is seeking an entry-level aviation electrician to diagnose, inspect, repair and manufacture aircraft wiring and electrical systems under the direction of senior technicians.

The role requires FAA Airframe Technician’s Certificate or FCC General Radio Certificate and a valid Class-C Driver’s License; one year of aerospace electrical experience may substitute certificates. Travel of 10–50% to bases will be involved.

Qualifications

• FAA Airframe Technician’s Certificate or FCC General Radio Certificate required.
• Valid Class-C Driver’s License required.
• One year of aerospace/aviation electrical experience may qualify in lieu of certificates.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, inspect, repair and manufacture aircraft wiring and electrical systems under supervision.
• Disassemble and overhaul aircraft electrical components.
• Install and rig critical electrical components and return to service sophisticated electrical systems.
• Design and fabricate electrical wire harness assemblies and schematics for fleet modification.
