Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace seeks a Cabinet Finisher I for the GAC Appleton location. Under supervision, you will learn cabinet finish preparation and application using engineering drawings and standard shop materials.

This role involves working weekend days in our finish shop. The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED with wood finishing or related experience, and may have completed a technical cabinet making certificate or youth apprenticeship.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED; wood finishing or auto body and painting experience in a technical environment preferred.
• Completion of Technical Certificate in cabinet making preferred; youth apprenticeship program completed in the current year is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Learn entry-level technical skills under direct supervision in the Cabinet Finish shop.
• Prepare and finish furniture using design/engineering drawings, tools, and materials.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks, and sign off work.
• Follow safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies; protect aircraft interior (PTP); assist initiatives.
