Job summary

Gulfstream Aerospace Corporation is seeking an entry-level Cabinet Finish Technician for the Wisconsin facility. You will learn to prepare and finish cabinet components based on design drawings under supervision.

Initial duties include applying finishes, following safety protocols, and using the material tracking system. This role requires ability to lift up to 40 pounds and work the First shift in an on-site shop environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; technical training preferred.
• Youth apprenticeship program or related training is a plus.
• Ability to read and interpret design/engineering drawings.

Responsibilities

• With direct supervision learns entry-level technical skills and knowledge, regulatory requirements and tooling used in the Cabinet Finish shop.
• Using standard safety and operating procedures, design/engineering drawings, tools and other materials, develops proficiency in the preparation and finish of furniture.
• Use the material tracking system to create parts demand, track squawks and to sign-off work.
• Complies with all safety, 5S, and housekeeping policies, uses personal protective equipment; ensures aircraft interior is protected.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
