Job summary

Scoular is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer in Overland Park, KS to support design, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of business systems and IT infrastructure. You’ll work with AI-assisted SDLC, focusing on the Angular and .NET stack, with code in GitHub Enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree completed or currently pursuing.
• 0–2 years of experience preferred.
• Willingness to develop within an AI-assisted SDLC and use AI coding tools.
• AI-generated code must be read, tested, and understood before submission.
• Willingness to learn standards, branching, and escalation paths.
• Knowledge of IT laws and compliance (SOX, PCI DSS, HIPAA/HITECH) is desirable.
• Strong interpersonal, analytical, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with team members, partners, and vendors to deliver contemporary solutions.
• Support business process enhancements and identify automation candidates.
• Analyze problems, document requirements, and contribute to designs.
• Develop, test, and document AI-assisted solutions using Claude Code within the session lifecycle.
• Submit work through pull requests and resolve security findings before promotion.
• Follow change-management processes and assist with deployment pipelines.
• Build core engineering proficiency, including Git and GitHub fundamentals.
