Job summary

The Scoular Company is seeking an Associate Systems Engineer to contribute to design, implementation, and maintenance of business systems and IT infrastructure. You will work with senior engineers, analysts, and cross-functional teams to monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, test deployments, and document processes.

This entry-level role emphasizes learning AI-assisted SDLC using Claude Code on our Angular and .NET stack, with emphasis on code review, security scanning, and reliable,

Qualifications

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor's degree.
• 0-2 years of experience preferred.
• Willingness to develop within an AI-assisted SDLC and use AI coding tools.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate efficiently with team members, business partners, and third-party vendors to define and deliver solutions.
• Support design discussions to translate business needs into technical work.
• Analyze problems, document requirements, and contribute to designs; maintain repository context.
• Develop, test, and document solutions using Claude Code within the session lifecycle, review PRs, and address security findings.
• Follow change management processes and assist with deployment validation across DEV/QA/PROD paths.
• Learn and apply Scoular's development standards, testing practices, and AI usage best practices.
