Agtegra Cooperative is seeking a Sales Agronomist Associate in Stickney, SD, an entry-level development role focused on growth in agronomy sales within the assigned territory. You will learn sales processes, build customer relationships, and contribute to service growth under supervision.

The position emphasizes developing skills in product knowledge, field scouting, and customer service while meeting safety and regulatory requirements in a real farm community setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 1–5 years related experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Generates new sales contacts through calls with guidance from Manager and Location Manager.
• Builds product knowledge by attending meetings and training sessions.
• Sells agronomy products and services to increase sales within the assigned customers.
• Scouts fields and makes recommendations with assistance from a Sales Agronomist.
• Provides customer service, handles complaints, and thanks customers for their business.
• Aims to grow the assigned territory over 2–3 years to meet company goals.
• Adheres to safety policies, OSHA regulations, fleet safety, and DOT rules.
