Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or AA with 1–5 years related experience or training.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Must be eligible to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Ability to perform physical job duties including bending, lifting up to 50lbs.
• Ability to work in varied indoor and outdoor conditions with PPE including a respirator.
• Ability to work in elevated areas (4 feet+), confined spaces.
• Willing to work overtime including weekends/holidays/different shifts.
• Crop Advisor Certification and CDL beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Generates new sales contacts through sales calls with assistance from the Sales Manager, Location Manager, and Sales Agronomist.
• Develops personal sales and service skills, attends product, grain, and cooperative meetings to gain knowledge.
• Sells agronomy products and services to increase sales with assigned customers to meet management expectations.
• Scouts fields and makes recommendations with the assistance of a Sales Agronomist.
• Provides customer service by aiding customers, addressing complaints, greeting customers, and thanking them for their business.
• Grow assigned territory in sales consistently over two to three years to meet company goals.
• Adheres to safety regulations, policies, procedures including OSHA, DOT, vehicle policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
