Job summary

GreenStone Farm Credit Services seeks an Associate Loan Officer in Wisconsin to begin a career in agricultural lending and relationship management. You will gain hands-on experience across customer relationships, sales, credit, financial analysis, loan origination and portfolio servicing while working with experienced officers and analysts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in agriculture, business, finance or related field preferred.
• Relevant experience or an equivalent combination will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer relationships and sales skills; understand needs and gather financial information.
• Participate in customer calls and support business development, sales and marketing activities.
• Build knowledge of agricultural finance, market conditions, and GreenStone’s products and services.
• Assist with gathering financial information, analyzing loan requests, and preparing documentation.
• Develop experience with balance sheets, financial trends, ratios, collateral and credit analysis.
• Learn lending systems, underwriting standards and loan processes with experienced colleagues.
• Engage with agricultural community through events and relationships.
