Job summary

Intuitive Machines is seeking a Junior-Level Manufacturing Engineering Technician for our Production & Manufacturing Team in Houston, TX. This onsite role provides technical and administrative support to Manufacturing Engineering and cross-functional groups.

You will work with Procurement, Manufacturing, and Process Development to ensure flight components meet material, coating, inspection, and documentation requirements while assisting with new product introductions and process improvements.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings.
• Experience with CAD software Creo and/or Fusion 360.
• Familiarity with ASME Y14.5 and related standards.
• Experience with Microsoft Office suite.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Ability to work in a collaborative team environment.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Creative problem solving.
• US Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Identify and communicate manufacturing requirements for flight components with Procurement.
• Assist in developing manufacturing components, tooling, and processes.
• Prepare and maintain manufacturing documentation and work instructions.
• Support shop-floor activities and document process issues.
• Coordinate RFQ packages and track procurement activities.
• Review drawings and models to identify manufacturing needs and issues.
• Support continuous improvement by collecting data and implementing updated processes.
• Adapt to fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.
• Demonstrate eagerness to learn new manufacturing technologies.
