Job summary

Textron is seeking an Entry Level Engineer in Johnson City, TN to contribute to aircraft integration and manufacturing projects. You will collaborate with seasoned engineers, manufacturing, and quality teams, applying CAD tools and analysis skills to design, test, and document systems during early career development.

You'll participate in bench and flight-related testing, help prepare certification documentation, and support cross-functional teams across engineering disciplines.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or higher in a technical field is required.
• Foundational knowledge of aircraft, systems, and manufacturing processes is desired.
• Proficiency with CAD tools and engineering analysis software is expected.

Responsibilities

• Design and update procedures and drawings for STC kits and customized completions.
• Support integration of mechanical, electrical/avionics and software-enabled systems.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality to ensure designs are producible and well documented.
• Assist with bench and system-level testing, data collection, and troubleshooting.
• Prepare technical documentation to support certification and STC approvals.
• Review drawings, specifications, and test data to respond to product questions; implement approved changes.
