Job summary

RTX, in the Advanced Effector Guidance Systems (AEGS) Department, seeks entry-level engineers to troubleshoot electronics, perform circuit analyses, and contribute to subsystem integration and test in a lab environment. Candidates must hold a STEM degree and be eligible for a DoD clearance.

Onsite role in Tucson with opportunities to work with RF/analog/digital circuits, test procedures, and cross-functional teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or STEM field by start date.
Experience writing and/or executing test procedures.
Basic lab experience with RF, analog, digital, mixed-signal, circuit design or analysis.

Responsibilities

Troubleshoot electronics in a lab or production environment; perform system and circuit analysis; support failure investigations; create documentation.
Troubleshooting hardware and process issues to the component level.
Failure analysis and corrective action implementation.
Perform analog and digital circuit analysis and model electrical signals.
Identify circuit card and subassembly design updates.
Conduct integration and test at subassembly level.
Develop interconnect models between subsystems.
Generate and document test procedures and results.
Present task results to small technical teams.
Travel to test areas for support less than 10%.
