Job summary
REXA, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to develop actuator order and quote packages, capturing the scope of supply, technical requirements, and all necessary details to produce a finished product.
The role includes creating all drawings, designing adaptation hardware, and generating BOMs for production. The engineer will provide technical support to internal and external customers and collaborate with manufacturing on assembly and ECNs.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Proficiency with SolidWorks.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience using an ERP system for BOM generation and creation of new parts.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop actuator production packages to meet the order specification sheet.
- Process orders with limited complexity under management/mentorship.
- Utilize CAD design software to create customer specific actuator layout drawings.
- Use CAD to create custom adaptation hardware and components.
- Generate bill of materials.
- Generate special assembly or testing instructions for operations.
- Interface with manufacturing to assist in the assembly and manufacturing of actuator packages.
- Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).
