Job summary

Rexa, Inc. seeks an Application Engineer to provide technical and customer service support to Rexa channel partners and customers directly.

You will evaluate data to size actuators, create quote packages, and coordinate with Engineering to provide drawings and ensure orders meet customer specs. The role involves cost analysis, technical inquiries, and collaboration with Production to expedite jobs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering (mechanical, electrical, or electro-mechanical).
• Three to five years of experience creating technical quotes; industrial automation environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate raw data from customers to size and select the optimal actuator for the application.
• Create quote packages for sales force and customers following Rexa’s quote process guidelines.
• Coordinate with Engineering to provide drawings of the proposed actuators when needed.
• Perform cost analysis and margin estimates to facilitate special project pricing.
• Manage phone calls and emails for technical assistance; answer sizing, operation, and control scheme questions.
• Review mounting dimensions and ensure information for Rexa mounting brackets to fit the device.
• Clarify order requirements with customers or channel partners and resolve discrepancies.
• Organize transfer of information from Sales to Engineering to meet customer specs.
• Collaborate with Production and Engineering to expedite jobs.
• Participate in customer and channel partner training classes.
