Job summary

REXA, Inc. is seeking a Product Engineer to develop actuator order and quote packages, capturing the scope of supply, technical requirements, and all necessary details to produce a finished product.

The role includes creating all drawings, designing adaptation hardware, and generating BOMs for production. The engineer will provide technical support to internal and external customers and collaborate with manufacturing on assembly and ECNs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks.
• Experience with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using an ERP system for BOM generation and creation of new parts.
• Strong problem-solving and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop actuator production packages to meet the order specification sheet.
• Process orders with limited complexity under management/mentorship.
• Utilize CAD design software to create customer specific actuator layout drawings.
• Use CAD to create custom adaptation hardware and components.
• Generate bill of materials.
• Generate special assembly or testing instructions for operations.
• Interface with manufacturing to assist in the assembly and manufacturing of actuator packages.
• Process Engineering Change Notices (ECNs).

REXA, Inc is seeking a Product Engineer to develop actuator order and quote packages that capture the scope of supply, technical requirements, and all necessary details to produce a finished product. Scope of work includes creating all drawings, designing the adaptation hardware, adding customized accessories, generating a bill of materials and creating any instruction to the production floor. The Product Engineer will provide effective technical support to both internal and external customers as required on a job specific basis.

Responsibilities:

Develop actuator production packages to meet the order specification sheetProcess orders with limited complexity under management/mentorshipUtilize CAD design software to create customer specific actuator layout drawingsUtilize of CAD design software to create custom adaptation hardware and componentsGenerate bill of materialsGenerate special assembly or testing instructions for operationsInterface with manufacturing to assist in the assembly and manufacturing of actuator packagesProcess Engineering Change Notices (ECNs)

Qualifications:

Working conditions

Office environment. May be exposed to manufacturing activity. No strenuous physical work. Strict compliance with company safety policies. Occasional travel.

Hourly range: $27.69 - $31.00 depending on experience
