Job summary

Momentum is seeking an entry level Accounts Receivable (AR) Specialist to perform a variety of billing and payment-processing tasks to ensure accurate and timely invoicing in accordance with Regional Center service contracts. The AR Specialist will apply cash and electronic payments to AR sub-ledgers, post monthly charges, and resolve billing discrepancies.

Strong attention to detail and spreadsheet skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Two (2) or more years of work experience in all accounting functions, especially accounts receivable, medical billing, and reimbursement process.
• Must read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
• Valid CA driver license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Data entry related to monthly billing to Regional Centers using a web-based system.
• Monitor billing portals for retro invoices and data entry for invoices.
• Post cash receipts and monthly charges to AR sub-ledgers.
• Research and resolve unidentified/misapplied payments for Regional Center payments.
• Maintain admission documents, Medi-Cal and Regional records, and filing system.
