CFS in Indianapolis is seeking an early-career Accounts Payable professional to gain hands-on experience in a collaborative, in-office setting. The role emphasizes processing vendor invoices, payments, and vendor inquiries with mentorship from accounting leaders.

Ideal candidates have 0-2 years of experience, hold an Associate’s or Bachelor’s in accounting or related field, and possess strong Excel and communication skills for a fast-paced environment.

Formación

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or related field preferred.
• 0-2 years of accounting, bookkeeping, accounts payable, or administrative experience.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Responsabilidades

• Process vendor invoices accurately and efficiently.
• Review invoices for proper approvals and coding.
• Prepare and complete weekly check runs and electronic payments.
• Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Respond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptly.
• Support month-end closing activities and accounting projects as needed.
