GAF in Newton, Kansas is seeking an E&I Technician I to maintain electrical and instrumentation systems for a new plant. The role reports to the Maintenance Supervisor and supports Level II technicians in calibration and repairs to ensure reliable plant performance.

Ideal candidates have a strong safety mindset, basic reading of schematics, and familiarity with SCADA. The position may involve up to 50% travel for startup and commissioning activities.

Formación

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s Degree preferred.
• 3+ years industrial or mechanical maintenance experience in high volume manufacturing (continuous process).
• NFPA 70e certificate preferred.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Champion a safe and clean work environment and prioritize safety.
• Perform routine troubleshooting, service and repair of basic plant electrical and control systems.
• Assist Level II technicians with installation and calibration of instrumentation.
• Document all work in the CMMS with accurate labor, parts and findings.
• Travel as needed for startup and commissioning activities (up to 50%).
