Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license in the job state.
• 18+ years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to staff, visitors and authorized personnel by following site procedures and access requirements.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds and entry points.
• Monitor visitor and vehicle records, verify authorization, and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document events per procedures.
• Prepare daily activity and incident reports while maintaining professional presence in a correctional facility.
