Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Corrections Facility Security Officer - Badge Control in Columbia, SC. This unarmed role provides client service, enforces access control and badge processes, and maintains a professional, dependable presence.

You will perform regular patrols, respond calmly to incidents, and uphold site policies while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols around the business and perimeter. Working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
