WSP is seeking an Entry Career Civil Engineer to join the Power Delivery Overhead Transmission Line Department in Milwaukee, WI, starting January 2027. The role involves design for new lines, relocations, upgrades, and fiber optic additions within a hybrid work environment (remote/office).

Qualifications

• BSCE (Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering) or related degree from an ABET-accredited university
• Strong command of English with good written and oral communication
• Experience using Microsoft Office
• Ability to work in the US without sponsorship
• Proficiency with technical writing and office software
• Commitment to workplace safety and WSP policies
• Ability to adapt to project schedules and extended hours
• Occasional travel may be required

Responsibilities

• Assist with basic professional civil engineering tasks related to site conditions, permits, and compliance
• Provide entry-level technical support on design requirements and safety for end-users and infrastructure
• Verify site characteristics and offer technical input on engineering and construction issues
• Generate accurate documentation using electronic systems, drawings, and field notes
• Follow safety guidelines and project procedures across data collection and reporting
• Complete training on assigned tasks and support project needs
• Adhere to WSP’s Code of Conduct and policies
• Take on additional responsibilities as needed
