Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 0–1 years of post-education experience.
• Familiarity with electrical construction laws, codes and compliance.
• Clear communication of ideas to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for project needs.
• Basic proficiency with common software and documentation.

Responsibilities

• Under supervision, assist data collection and analysis for substation components and pricing.
• Assist with design of single line/three line diagrams, wiring layouts, grounding designs.
• Provide entry-level support on panel design, cabling, conduit and trenching strategies.
• Verify site characteristics and provide basic technical assistance on procedures and issues.
• Develop electrical calculations for loads, sizing, voltage drop and grounding.
• Generate concise documentation using drawings, electronic systems and logs.
• Follow safety guidelines and site procedures and policies.
• Complete training on assigned tasks.
• Support project scheduling and travel as required.
• Exercise ethical use of company funds and resources.
