Job summary

Private Client Select is seeking an entrepreneurial underwriter and business leader to own its Liability Solutions portfolio, including Group Umbrella and a new High-Limit Excess-over-Excess business. The role requires steering underwriting, pricing, product design, and distribution with a focus on profitability and growth.

Qualifications

• Experience underwriting specialty liability and producing within broker markets.
• Ability to own financial performance of underwriting portfolios and drive pricing/growth decisions.
• Proven track record in improving profitability of existing books and launching new programs.
• Strong leadership to build teams and scale operations as needed.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of PCS's Group Umbrella portfolio and drive performance.
• Lead underwriting and risk selection, initially with direct report support.
• Refine pricing and underwriting standards based on market conditions.
• Build and manage capacity relationships, relationships with brokers and clients.
• Create and scale a high-limit Excess-over-Excess business from inception.
