Job summary

CliftonLarsonAllen LLP seeks a Client Relationship Leader for its CAAS practice in Connecticut. The role focuses on expanding client relationships, building a regional network, and driving business development initiatives in a collaborative, client-focused environment.

The ideal candidate has 10+ years in public accounting with Big Four experience, a bachelor’s degree in accounting/finance, and strong relationship-building skills. CPA is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 years of work experience, including Big Four Audit Manager or other public accounting.
• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, business, or related field.
• CPA certification is preferred but not required.
• Client services delivery orientation, relationship-building experience, and drive to participate in business development initiatives.
• Ability to gain the confidence and respect of senior executives and team members.

Responsibilities

• Expand existing client relationships and build your network to develop new relationships in the community.
• Work closely with the Managing Principal and Outsourcing Client Service Team to drive business and service offerings.
• Recognize opportunities, problem solve and close business, especially at strategically targeted accounts.
• Implement a sales strategy for new account prospects, prepare client presentations, and attend local and regional networking events representing CLA.
• Effectively project manage ongoing engagements to meet client needs.
• Maintain business development targets and sales activities in CRM.
