Who You Are

  • High school graduate
  • Minimum of 4 years high-volume production cooking experience
  • Ability to speak, read, and write English
  • Requires advanced cooking skills and creative food presentation

Job Summary

The Entrée Cook prepares and serves breakfast, lunch, and dinner for residents and events, overseeing food production to meet high standards of quality and presentation.

Essential Job Duties

  • Review daily menus and production schedules
  • Prepare entrees, soups, and modified foods
  • Follow standardized recipes and production methods
  • Ensure proper setup and food temperatures during service
  • Fabricate and portion meats, poultry, and seafood
  • Monitor portion control and food quality
  • Perform tasting and seasoning adjustments
  • Maintain sanitation and storage standards
  • Label, date, and store food properly
  • Make menu substitutions as needed and inform staff
  • Report safety or sanitation concerns
  • Complete sanitation procedures and oversee cleaning staff

Pay Rate: $21.00 – $23.00/hr.
