Job summary

Vensure Employer Solutions seeks a visionary VP of Payroll, Sports & Entertainment to manage end-to-end payroll across film, TV, live events, and digital media. You’ll lead a team of specialists, ensure timely processing, and uphold union agreements and tax compliance.

You will collaborate with production management and finance, drive process improvements, and oversee payroll systems upgrades while mentoring staff and ensuring accurate reporting across multiple jurisdictions.

Qualifications

• Extensive knowledge of entertainment payroll platforms and guild rules.
• 7+ years of payroll experience in entertainment required.
• 5+ years of management experience required.
• Strong MS Office skills, especially Excel and Outlook.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor a team of payroll professionals, ensuring adherence to policies.
• Oversee staff development, performance reviews, and training for accuracy and compliance.
• Ensure compliance with entertainment labor laws, guild agreements and tax laws.
• Manage payroll for multiple jurisdictions and locations.
• Provide detailed payroll reports and respond to audits and inquiries.
