Job summary

Spectrum Retirement Communities is seeking an Activities Assistant for part-time shifts (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) to support resident programs and events. You will help plan monthly calendars, arrange performers, provide seminars, and maintain the resident library.

The role also involves driving residents to events and helping them board or leave the community vehicle, requiring a valid license and clean driving record. Strong customer service and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• Ability to communicate clearly with residents, family, and team members.

Schedule

• Assisting the development, planning, implementation, the execution of the activities for residents.
• Assisting in the development of the monthly calendar, procuring performers, providing seminars, and maintaining the resident library.
• Driving residents to events, assisting residents to enter and exit the community vehicle.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must have a valid driver's license, a clean motor vehicle records, and at least 3 years of driving experience.
• The ability to communicate clearly and effectively with residents, family members, and other team members.
• Must be self-motivated, organized, and professional. Must be able to work independently and handle multiple tasks at one time.
• Strong customer service skills are required.
