Job summary

Focus Partners is seeking a Bookkeeper with experience in the entertainment business management industry to join our team of dedicated professionals. You will be working with a wide range of clients—from producers and touring artists to icons in film and television.

The primary responsibility of this role is client accounting and transactions processing. This position operates on a hybrid schedule out of our Calabasas, CA office.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• 3+ years of experience in the entertainment business management industry.
• 3+ years of experience with AgilLink software.
• 3+ years experience with Excel.
• Solid organizational skills with great attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
• Self-directed, ability to handle new tasks with little direction.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work in a client-focused team environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage day to day multiple client activities including processing accounts receivable and accounts payable.
• Perform credit card and bank reconciliations.
• Manage multiple monthly, quarterly and annual processes.
• Prepare/review 1099 reports.
• Prepare journal entries.
• Other projects and duties as assigned.
