Job summary

Solomon Page is partnering with an entertainment company to recruit a Temp-to-Hire Accountant. The position is hybrid and based in Century City, Los Angeles. Pay ranges from $28 to $34 per hour.

You will log and maintain booking reports, process payments, generate invoices, apply deposits, settle shows, maintain the master release grid, collect updates on bookings, review unclaimed payments, handle funds-on-hold, attach docs, support accounting projects, and escalate issues when needed.

Responsibilities

• Log and maintain booking reports; process payments and generate invoices
• Apply deposits for upcoming events
• Settle shows based on agent numbers and release payments to clients
• Maintain and update master release grid (deposits, settlements, etc.)
• Collect and enter updates on prior booking reports
• Review unclaimed and held checks/wires and identify resolution
• Handle funds-on-hold, open booking, and invoice follow-up
• Attach supporting documentation to payments and file documents on a timely basis
• Provide information as requested by agent offices and coordinators
• Support system and process improvement projects
• Escalate issues to Accounting Supervisor as needed
