Job summary

Cogent Security is seeking a seasoned Solutions Engineer to design and scope vulnerability management for our enterprise customers. You’ll translate customer environments into concrete implementation plans and write tickets for engineering to execute.

In this founding role, you’ll work with the Customer Success team and TAMs, engaging CISOs and security teams to ensure scalable, repeatable deployments and a high-trust technical relationship.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of professional experience in security.
• 5+ years in vulnerability management or a closely related security discipline.
• Experience at an early-stage company building scalable processes from scratch.
• Proven track record with enterprise-scale customers and executive-level stakeholders.
• Management experience including hiring and team-building.
• Familiarity with APIs; comfortable with API keys, data reading/writing, and validation.

Responsibilities

• Scope & design vulnerability management solutions with customers.
• Bridge technical designs to engineering via actionable tickets.
• Own the technical relationship with the TAM and customer security stakeholders.
• Deploy solutions at enterprise scale with large deployment teams.
• Scale the forward deployed motion with repeatable scoping and design practices.
• Help define Cogent's Solutions Architect function as the post-sales motion scales.
