Job summary

Cencora is seeking a Senior Program Manager to lead a major workstream within a large enterprise transformation. You will coordinate across business, IT, and implementation partners to ensure timely delivery, manage risks, and maintain alignment with program objectives.

Strong leadership, planning, and communication skills are essential. The role emphasizes governance, stakeholder engagement, and business readiness, with career growth in a complex regulatory environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 8+ years of program or project management experience, including leadership of complex, cross-functional initiatives.
• Experience leading a major workstream within a large enterprise-wide transformation, ERP transformation, or similarly complex program.
• Strong experience in integrated planning, risk management, issue resolution, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working across business and technology teams in a matrixed environment.
• Deep expertise in large scale program budget management.
• Demonstrated ability to manage complexity, drive execution, and influence without direct authority.
• Strong written, verbal, and executive-level communication skills.
• PMP, Agile, or related certifications preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead an assigned workstream within the broader enterprise-wide transformation program.
• Own day-to-day planning, coordination, execution oversight, and delivery tracking for the workstream.
• Ensure workstream objectives, milestones, deliverables, and dependencies are clearly defined and actively managed.
• Drive accountability across team members and stakeholders to achieve outcomes.
• Develop and maintain detailed workstream plans, timelines, milestones, and action logs.
• Coordinate activities across business, IT, functional teams, and external partners.
• Monitor progress against plan and identify risks, issues, and delivery gaps.
• Escalate critical risks and decisions with recommended actions.
• Prepare and provide regular status updates on workstream progress.
• Support governance forums with timely and accurate reporting.
• Maintain documentation and key workstream artifacts.
• Build relationships with stakeholders and partners.
• Support readiness, process alignment, and adoption activities.
