Job summary

CenterPoint Energy is seeking a Director of the Transformation Office to lead the enterprise portfolio, translate strategic priorities into executable initiatives, and drive disciplined delivery with measured business impact.

The role partners with executive leadership to establish governance, manage interdependencies, and realize benefits across a multi-site energy infrastructure. A strong focus on accountability and program maturity is essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; engineering, environmental science, regulatory affairs, business preferred.
• Certifications such as PMP or Six Sigma are a plus.
• Minimum 10+ years in natural gas or electric operations or regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Transformation Office and set execution standards, operating rhythm, and value realization.
• Translate strategy into an integrated transformation roadmap.
• Establish governance, prioritization, sequencing, and performance management across initiatives.
• Provide clear, concise updates to executive leadership on progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Develop and coach a high-performing Transformation Office team.
