Avangrid is seeking a Director to lead enterprise governance and strategic decision‑making across seven operating companies. You will harmonize customer experience, regulatory requirements, and technology capabilities to enable sustainable transformation.

The role requires executive influence, strong change leadership, and proficiency in governing future state processes and standardization within a complex, regulated energy environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Digital, Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in process governance or digital transformation.
• Strong understanding of governance frameworks, process standardization, and cross‑functional alignment in complex or regulated environments.

Responsibilities

• Drive Business‑Led Transformation – lead the design and adoption of future‑state business processes and operating models.
• Influence Executive Stakeholders – partner with executive committees to drive enterprise priorities and align stakeholders.
• Partner with Customer Service and Operations Leadership – translate business needs into sustainable enterprise solutions.
• Chair Design Authority and Governance Forums – lead governance councils and forums for strategic decisions.
• Challenge and Shape Strategic Decisions – provide independent leadership and guidance to achieve standardization and long‑term value creation.
• Drive Organizational Alignment and Adoption – build commitment across leadership teams to enterprise process standards.
• Measure Transformation Effectiveness and Value Realization – establish measures to evaluate adoption, governance, outcomes, and ROI.
• Lead Enterprise Governance and Strategic Decision-Making – establish the enterprise governance model across the transformation portfolio.
• Establish Enterprise Process Standards – define standards to promote consistency and minimize unnecessary customization.
