Job summary

RTX in Tucson, AZ seeks a senior leader to own enterprise-wide production test strategy and execution across programs and factories. You will drive scalable test architectures, guide capital and automation roadmaps, and ensure production-ready test capabilities meet contractual rate and acceptance requirements.

This role requires a STEM degree and extensive hands-on experience in hardware/software test, EVMS, and leading engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM).
• 14+ years hardware and/or software design, development, or production test.
• 6+ years production or depot-level test capabilities development/implementation.
• Experience leading engineering teams with performance and staffing responsibility.
• Experience with EVMS.
• Experience evaluating technical and/or cost proposals.

Responsibilities

• Lead enterprise-wide production test strategy and execution across programs and factories to meet takt, yield, and throughput goals.
• Deliver scalable, common test architectures aligned with factory acceleration and supplier readiness.
• Drive capital and automation roadmaps and deploy test equipment upgrades.
• Serve as technical authority for test architecture commonality and feasibility.
• Coordinate with Operations, Supply Chain, factories, and program teams to ensure production-ready test capability.
• Direct cross-site multi-discipline test teams responsible for design, deployment, and sustainment of production test solutions.
• Guide enterprise test roadmap decisions prioritizing automation and technology upgrades.
• Drive alignment across factories and programs on test planning and capital investment.
