Job summary

Knowledge Management, Inc. (KMI) is seeking a highly experienced professional for the Technical Surveillance and Radio Coordinator role in Manassas, VA.

The position supports the DO-C Bureau of Industry and Security, Investigative Support Unit, building enterprise surveillance and radio capability and coordinating budgets, audits, and reporting. The role requires 15+ years in law enforcement, 5+ years in technical surveillance/radio ops, 4+ years of MS Office proficiency, and strong English

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of law-enforcement experience.
• Minimum of five years in technical surveillance and law-enforcement radio operations.
• Minimum of four years with high proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee field- and task-level project performance across multiple projects.
• Supervise personnel and coordinate responsibilities to ensure tasks are completed.
• Apply independent judgment to solve non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems.
• Develop an enterprise technical-surveillance and radio program with managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare budget proposals and monitor spend plans for compliance.
• Conduct cost-benefit analyses and data tracking for program needs.
• Coordinate operational audits and ensure proper documentation.
