Job summary

Peraton seeks a Key Management Infrastructure (KMI) Engineer to support the FEMA program at Mount Weather, VA. You will manage COMSEC measures and secure communications, including keying material distribution and equipment upgrades.

The role requires TS clearance eligibility, DHS COMSEC certification, and experience with KMI systems, CARDS, and DIAS. On-site work in Bluemont, VA is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with experience in KMI/COMSEC is preferred.
• Experience supporting KMI cryptographic equipment and modernization initiatives.
• Experience with COMSEC accounting systems and DIAS/CARDS.
• KMI and COMSEC certifications are required or eligible.

Responsibilities

• Manage and operate DHS Central Office of Record within KMI.
• Develop and implement plans to meet DHS COMSEC needs.
• Conduct field audits of COMSEC accounts per policies.
• Ensure proper handling of cryptographic assets from CCI to Top Secret.
• Distribute cryptographic keying material nationwide via KMI.
