Job summary

Responsibilities & Qualifications

We are seeking Knowledge Management Specialist - COMSEC / KMI for the Department of State COMSEC IT Services contract. The Knowledge Management Specialist - COMSEC / KM will support the development, maintenance, organization, governance, and dissemination of operational knowledge supporting COMSEC operations, secure communications, controlled-accountability systems, and KMI.

Experience

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in COMSEC operations, secure communications, and controlled-accountability systems.
• Strong attention to detail
• Demonstrated experience supporting government agencies, customers, or contracts within federal environments. This includes the Intelligence Community (IC), Department of Defense (DoD), Federal Civil agencies, and military organizations. Prior experience supporting the same or similar contract, with an in-depth understanding of the customer environment, requirements, and operational landscape, is highly desirable.

Certifications

• Security+ certification (DoD 8570 IAT Level II)
• KMI certification.
• ITIL certification within 6 months of hire.

Education

• Preferred Bachelor's degree in communications, Public Relations, or related field

Clearance

• Active TS/SCI clearance.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting COMSEC or cryptographic operations.
• Experience with Federal knowledge-management systems or ServiceNow.
• Experience developing technical SOPs and operational documentation.
• Experience supporting audit and compliance activities.

Wage Information

Target salary range: $110,000 - $170,000. The salary range displayed is an estimate and will be determined on several factors regarding the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies and experience, as well as contract parameters and organizational requirements. The displayed salary is one component of the total compensation package for employees.
