Job summary

Knowledge Management, Inc. in Manassas, VA seeks a Technical Surveillance and Radio Coordinator to lead enterprise surveillance and radio operations within the ISU, coordinating budgets, audits, and management reporting for DoC OST field investigations.

The role requires 15+ years in law enforcement, 5+ years in technical surveillance, and strong Microsoft Office skills. Onsite, full-time with standard hours and federal security clearances.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 15 years of law-enforcement experience.
• Minimum of five years of experience directly related to technical surveillance and law-enforcement radio operations.
• Minimum of four years of experience with high proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills in English.

Responsibilities

• Oversee all aspects of field- and task-level project performance, including technical, contractual, administrative, and financial performance, across multiple simultaneous projects.
• Supervise personnel involved in project activities; organize and assign responsibilities; oversee successful completion of assigned tasks; and maintain customer contacts to ensure conformity with all obligations.
• Exercise independent judgment and advanced analytical skill to solve non-routine technical, administrative, and managerial problems while interfacing with computer and client-service functions.
• Work with program and project managers to develop an enterprise technical-surveillance and law-enforcement radio program and keep management and organizational stakeholders informed.
• Estimate and prepare budget proposals for mission needs; ensure financial, budget, and planning documents are complete and accurate; and monitor activities for compliance with the approved budget and spend plan.
• Oversee cost-benefit analyses and analyses of alternatives for enterprise mission needs and assist with required data tracking and compliance reporting.
• Work with the program manager and enterprise stakeholders to arrange operational audits and assess the accuracy of undercover budget, policy, and recordkeeping documents.
• Collect timely, comprehensive, and accurate management information reports and statistical summaries to support evaluation of ongoing ISU activities and programs.
• Organize historical data and electronic files on the program shared drive.
