Job summary

Triumph Financial, Inc. is seeking a transformative Chief Information Officer to lead enterprise technology strategy, governance, and security across banking, payments, factoring, and intelligence domains. You will align technology investments with business outcomes and partner with executives to drive growth and risk reduction.

You will chair governance structures, oversee TriumphX, and guide AI initiatives while ensuring reliable and secure digital services in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Degree from accredited college/university.
• 20+ years of progressive technology experience.
• 10+ years in senior leadership roles with enterprise scope.
• Experience leading or partnering with Information Security functions.
• Prior CIO-level responsibility preferred (enterprise strategy, governance, board interaction).

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise technology strategy and roadmap aligned to business priorities.
• Partner to ensure technology investments are tied to measurable outcomes (growth, efficiency, risk reduction).
• Chair Enterprise IT Steering Committee and Technology Architecture Group (TAG).
• Lead TriumphX as the enterprise shared services organization delivering reliable, secure outcomes.
• Develop AI strategy and adoption governance with Risk and business leaders.
• Serve as strategic technology advisor to the Executive Leadership Team.
• Manage vendor relationships and contract negotiations to align with priorities.
• Oversee budget across run, grow, and transform investments.
• Lead technology due diligence for mergers & acquisitions and integration.
