Job summary

Grant Thornton is seeking a Senior Associate in the Advisory Transaction M&A Technology practice. You will deliver enterprise technology diligence and execution support for Private Equity and strategic clients across the transaction lifecycle, focusing on infrastructure, applications, data platforms, operating models, and AI readiness.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or related field required.
• 2+ years of experience in technology diligence, IT advisory, technology consulting, or related role supporting transactions.
• Strong understanding of technology operating models, cloud platforms, and IT cost structures.
• Experience analyzing complex data and synthesizing insights into outputs.
• Experience with PE-backed transactions and cross-functional client delivery.
• Exposure to digital transformation, automation, data platforms, or AI initiatives.
• Willingness to travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

• Execute enterprise technology diligence workstreams for buy-side and sell-side transactions.
• Assess core applications, infrastructure, data platforms, cloud, and security considerations.
• Analyze technology operating models, architectures, and cloud cost structures.
• Develop structured diligence deliverables linking technology findings to business impact.
• Support integration and separation planning and remediation plans.
• Collaborate with Financial Due Diligence, Cyber, Strategy, and Transformation teams.
• Support proposal development, work planning, and budgeting.
• Identify opportunities for scope expansion and modernization during engagements.
• Contribute to development of methodologies and playbooks.
