Job summary

The Milken Institute is seeking a Senior Associate, Business Analyst to join the Project and Portfolio Management Office in the Technology Department. This role focuses on Salesforce and data analytics, translating business needs into actionable requirements and supporting end-to-end delivery.

You will coordinate enhancements, maintain Jira/Confluence, and facilitate Agile ceremonies while collaborating with multiple departments across the Institute.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in relevant field or equivalent experience.
• 3–5 years in business analysis or agile software delivery.
• Experience with Jira/Confluence and CRM systems.
• Strong written and verbal communication.
• Ability to translate business needs into technical specs.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, document, and validate business requirements for CRM/enterprise tech.
• Coordinate enhancement requests from requirements through testing.
• Serve as Scrum Master for sprint planning and backlog refinement.
• Maintain Jira boards and ensure accurate delivery documentation.
• Analyze processes and document current/future-state workflows.
• Develop test cases and coordinate user acceptance testing.
• Support Salesforce CRM enhancements and data analytics.
• Communicate progress, risks, and next steps to stakeholders.
• Travel as needed to support events.
