Job summary

Physicians Insurance - A Mutual Company is seeking a Business Systems Analyst to define functional departments’ needs for enterprise applications, translate requirements into specifications, and configure systems. The role includes designing reports and dashboards and collaborating with IT and vendors to support ongoing operations.

Responsibilities include gathering reporting requirements, developing tests, and creating documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of experience with document imaging systems, CRM, professional liability systems, website support and development, and customer relations preferred.
• 4+ years of experience with SQL, PL/SQL, T-SQL, and working knowledge of JavaScript preferred.
• Experience with enterprise application configuration and development required, including configuring and maintaining systems to implement new or revised business rules through application settings; evaluating configuration changes to ensure they meet business requirements and deploying approved updates to production.
• 2+ years of experience in professional liability insurance and related systems is highly desirable.
• Hybrid role with an in-office expectation of 1 to 2 days per week; possible travel to the main office up to 4 times per year.

Responsibilities

• Collaborates with IT and external vendors to plan, design, and implement new or enhanced business processes and enterprise applications.
• Configures and maintains enterprise applications to support business needs; communicates with stakeholders throughout projects.
• Designs and tests reports/dashboards (Power BI, SAP BOE, ad hoc queries) and troubleshoots report issues.
• Supports system applications, upgrades, and troubleshooting with vendors and developers.
• Provides guidance on enterprise application issues including data input, reporting, and website support; assists with knowledge base and SOPs.
