Job summary

The Aerospace Corporation invites a highly skilled Enterprise Systems Engineer to lead holistic studies of national security space capabilities within the GMO department. You will evaluate architecture performance, propose actionable recommendations, and work closely with acquisition leads, field units, and Space Force partners to advance space system readiness.

Ideal candidates will have a strong systems engineering background, 10+ years for senior roles, and the ability to mentor government

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited program in engineering, science, mathematics, or an equivalent technical field.
• Six or more years of applicable experience in National Security Space systems.
• Active TS/SCI clearance with eligibility for SAP; U.S. citizenship is required to obtain a clearance.

Responsibilities

• Developing models of user demand on national security space capabilities and evaluating architecture performance.
• Employing models to evaluate space enterprise performance under various mission scenarios.
• Identifying risks and opportunities to improve enterprise performance and drive improvements with leadership.
• Serving as a technical point-of-contact for government customers and end users
• Organizing problems, funding, and products to anticipate future customer needs and Aerospace's backplane
