Job summary

Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a System Administrator to install, configure, and support server environments across physical, virtual, and cloud platforms. You will maintain enterprise servers, participate in project work, and provide on-call coverage 24/7 to ensure reliable operations.

The role focuses on server performance monitoring, documentation, disaster recovery planning, and collaboration with engineers and vendors to resolve complex issues.

Qualifications

• Vocational or Technical training required; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 1-3 years related work experience required.
• Advanced technical computer skills for technical support in the area.
• AWS, RHEL and Windows certifications preferred; project management certs a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs System Administrator activities to support multiple Server production systems.
• Maintain and support virtual server and hypervisor-based platform infra and CloudSaaS.
• Participates in monitoring and 7x24x365 on-call response.
• Creates and maintains technical support docs and DR documentation.
• Assist Level 2/3 engineers on projects and communicate with end-users or vendors.
• Perform basic problem management and root cause analysis; escalate as needed.
• Provide technical troubleshooting guidance to IS Support Staff.
