Job summary

Medpace is seeking a System Engineer to join the Infrastructure Enterprise Applications Team in Cincinnati. You will administer Windows Server environments, design solutions for vendors, developers, and users, and ensure high availability of systems and infrastructure.

The role requires 2+ years of Windows Server Administration and 1+ year in Web Hosting Administration, with strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information systems or related field.
• 2+ years of Windows Server Administration experience (Windows Server OS, RDS/Remote App, GPO, AD, File Server/NTFS).
• 1+ years of Web Hosting Administration (DNS, Load Balancers, IIS, Apache, SSL/TLS).
• Desire to learn and grow with strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Ability to manage many servers, applications, and priorities while communicating effectively.

Responsibilities

• Traditional Windows Server administration.
• Design/implement system solutions for Vendors, Developers, and Users to deliver enterprise apps.
• Ensure the highest level of system and infrastructure availability.
• Evaluate existing systems and provide technical direction to IT support staff.
• Coordinate with IT Security to resolve vulnerabilities.
• Manage and monitor systems/infrastructure to align with company requirements.
• Plan/implement system automation for efficiency.
• Utilize load-balancers for Web Servers and Applications.
• PKI certificate management.
• Manage a Citrix environment for Desktop/Application delivery.
• Use ServiceNow to document day-to-day work and track projects.
