Job Summary

The Workday Developer manages a portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. The role requires strong financials and HCM experience in ERP implementations, with at least one Workday Finance and HCM implementation, and proficiency in the Workday toolset, maintaining a focus on quality, security, and detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements from management and convert them into technical specifications, including report creation and analysis.
• Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis.
• Perform root cause analysis to resolve break/fix issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and other modules such as Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Ensure data integrity during transformations and transmissions.
• Participate in prototypes and demonstrations of new functionalities.
• Support bi-annual upgrade processes.
• Act as the primary support contact with Workday Support, managing communications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or financial reporting.
• Workday Pro certification is highly preferred.
• Background in finance, ERP, or Workday Financials strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Workday Finance and modules like Customers, Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and data transformation skills.
• Experience with Workday Prism Analytics and integrations such as VNDLY, Adaptive Planning, or third-party SaaS platforms like Salesforce, preferably via Boomi.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and teamwork skills.
• Proactive with a strong sense of ownership and attention to quality.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and functions.
• Expertise in Workday technologies including Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
