Job Summary

The Workday Developer is responsible for managing a broad portfolio of financial and HCM applications, integrations, and reports delivered primarily through the Workday cloud ERP platform. Must have strong financials and HCM experience in one or more ERP implementations and experience with at least one (1) Workday Finance and HCM implementation with solid skills in the Workday toolset while maintaining a rigorous commitment to quality, security, and attention to detail.

Essential Job Functions

• Gather business requirements from our Business Community & management and convert them into technical specifications, including report creation and analysis for enhanced business insights.
• Manage and build reports and conduct data analysis.
• Conduct root cause analysis to determine appropriate actions for break/fix issues.
• Configure and support Workday Finance and/or other modules such as Customers, Projects, Timekeeping, or Payroll.
• Maintain data integrity during all data transformations and transmissions.
• Support prototypes and demonstrations of new functionalities.
• Support bi-annual upgrade processes.
• Act as the primary support contact with Workday, managing communications with Workday Support.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in business analysis, technical business analysis, or financial reporting.
• Workday Pro certification highly preferred.
• Background in Financial or ERP / Workday Financials is strongly preferred.
• Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) from an accredited institution.
• Experience with Workday Finance and related modules such as Customers, Projects, Payroll, or Timekeeping.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Experience with Data Quality, Data Transformation, and Workday Prism Analytics.
• Functional awareness in managing Workday VNDLY, Adaptive Planning integrations.
• Experience integrating third-party SaaS platforms (e.g., Salesforce) with Boomi is a plus.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Excellent documentation skills and collaborative attitude.
• Proactive with ownership and commitment to quality and learning new technologies.
• Expertise in Workday technologies such as Enterprise Interface Builder (EIB) and Report Writer.
