Job summary

Oklahoma Baptist University seeks a Systems Administrator for Enterprise Systems to support campus enterprise applications, data integrations, and reporting platforms. You will collaborate with Finance, HR, Registrar, Admissions, and others to translate business needs into technical requirements and ensure reliable, secure data exchanges.

The role requires strong SQL, experience with relational databases (Oracle/SQL Server/PostgreSQL), API integrations, project coordination, and documentation.

Qualifications

• Three or more years of experience supporting enterprise systems, databases, and/or integrations.
• Experience in higher education or complex service‑oriented organizations preferred.
• Understanding of higher‑education data privacy, security, and FERPA.
• Experience with ERP, HCM, finance, student information, CRM, LMS, or identity management systems.

Responsibilities

• Support enterprise application integrations between systems (ERP, HR/payroll, finance, student information, CRM, LMS, identity management, and reporting).
• Build, maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot data integrations via SQL, APIs, secure file transfers, scheduled jobs, and vendor tools.
• Collaborate with campus stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into technical requirements.
• Coordinate small technical projects, organize tasks, meetings, and track action items and timelines.
• Support data governance, security practices, and FERPA compliance across integrations.
• Produce and maintain technical documentation, runbooks, and user guides.
• Provide responsive technical support and customer service to campus users.
